It’s a common challenge for most companies to incur losses in their first two years of trading. If someone had set up their small business right at the pandemic’s beginning, surviving and continuing trading would have taken a miracle.

The pressures heightened as we tried to provide our children with as good a Christmas as we always had. Money was tight, and everyone had to reassess how they spent their wages.
