With over a whopping 18million people tuning in to ITV to watch the Coronation on Saturday 6Th May 2023, we were curious to find out what King Charles III favourite cologne is.
Set at Westminster Abbey, the same place that saw our Queen, Elizabeth II, lay to rest, we watched the ceremony of our new King being crowned.

You don’t need to be a fan of the Royals or a big royalist to appreciate the work and effort into organising such a big event.
It was a very traditional affair that saw the Coronation taking place in a stunning location and saw a few changes from the original crowning in 1953 of our late Queen. In this current and shorter service, there were multiple faiths and cultures represented across the U.K
It was certainly a ceremony worth watching, even if you dipped in and out and watched Th highlights like myself.
Several of my clients had it showing on the TV in their homes so I was able to watch several parts of the day.
The Princess of Wales looked as stunning as ever wearing an embroidered Ivory silk crêpe gown, designed by Alexander McQueen and deep blue silk satin floor length Coronation robe.
Topped with a headpiece that any young girl would be honoured to wear, she omitted elegance throughout.
We also have to mention Prince Louis of Wales. The pure joy that this cheeky chap brings to every occasion is what lifts a smile to everyone’s face.
From covering his ears when the Red Arrows flew over the palace on the late Queen’s birthday, to his gorgeous facial expressions that stole the show at the King’s Coronation.
The five-year old certainly knows how to entertain the crowds and we think he is simply adorable.
The layers of golden robe ( called the Supertunica) that the King was wearing was impressive and quite a weight to carry too.
In fact, it weighs around 2kg (4.4lb). A stunning piece of material that we could even see from the Kings face just how heavy it was, without the 17Th century St Edwards crown to wear too.
Made of solid gold, the crown weighs almost 5lb, with a collection of sapphires, rubies, tourmaline and garnets, surrounding a velvet cap and ermine band.
A stunning masterpiece that will always stand out in future generations. King Charles III was seen to be wearing a lighter version late on in the ceremony, which was the Imperial State Crown.
There won’t be many of us that haven’t heard of Christian Dior, the French fashion couturier, born on 21st January 1905 who founded the company Dior on 16th December 1946.
They are one of the most iconic perfume and clothes fashion houses around today, creating their own unique style of clothing as well as producing some of the most famous fragrances in the world.
Many celebrities are known to wear their own scents as well as endorsing them.
Famous women such as Jennifer Aniston and Sienna Miller have also been known to wear the famous fashion house wardrobe.
After the death of Dior, in 1957, from a massive heart attack, it was left to another famous name in the fashion world, Yves St Laurent, to take over and keep the brand alive.
He was only 21 at the time, but was happy to carry on the legacy of Dior, until he was called to serve in 1960 for the French army so he was then released.
Marc Bohan replaced YSL, alongside other famous designers who introduced handbags and shoes to the world-famous fashion house.
Christian Dior prided himself in not only being a couturier, but also having a desire for the perfume industry and so he created his first perfume, Miss Dior in 1947.
In 2017, Dior reincarnated the original Miss Dior Eau de Parfum for women, a scent that is still hugely popular today. The American actress Natalie Portman has been the face of Miss Dior since 2010. The original Miss Dior perfume was a tribute to the designers sister, Catherine Dior.
King Charles III favourite cologne
We have covered several celebrities within the website and what their favourite scent is so once our King was crowned, I was curious to find out what scent our new heir to the throne likes to use.
Many famous faces have a signature scent and Charles is no exception.
Knowing just how big the fragrance house has become, it’s of little surprise that our King would choose one of Dior’s iconic fragrances as his signature scent.
Eau Sauvage by Dior is a gorgeous, citrus and aromatic scent for men that was released in 1966 and was the first fragrance for men from the House of Dior.

Top notes: lemon, bergamot, basil, caraway, rosemary, fruit notes
Middle notes : jasmine, carnation, coriander, patchouli, orris root, sandalwood, rose, hedione, lavender
Base notes : oakmoss, vetiver, musk, amber
The fresh scent from this bottle gives a clean, lemon fragrance which balances out the woody and earthy notes that many men love.
The bottle has a style of royal about it with its gold grooved design and silver ‘belt’ and cap.
It certainly has a wonderful selection of fragrance notes that gives it a legendary feel and a crisp freshness that compliments its floral notes.
Many users have commented to say that it is a suitable unisex cologne, with a crisp, strong and soft woody scent as the base notes pop through.
Why is Eau Sauvage so popular?
This scent is suitable for the older man, ideal for everyday use, which fits perfectly for our king on his royal duties. Not to be confused by Dior Sauvage, a bottle with a similar name, that has more spicy and stronger fragrance notes.

Fragrances are not just for the men and women of the world. Teenagers also love to smell good so we decided to take a look at suitable cologne for teenage guys.
The fragrance and skin care world has been popular for many years. Whether it’s a shower gel, deodorant or something stronger, we all use scents in some form that’s built into our daily routine.
There are of course many men and women who don’t enjoy wearing fragrances and that’s perfectly fine. Their skin may be too sensitive or they just haven’t found the right scent for them.
Young girls in particular, are influenced by their favourite pop idol and what perfume they are currently endorsing or have had some input into creating their unique scent. Every other celebrity has had a fragrance either endorsed with their name or have created their own line of perfumes or aftershaves for the world to try.
Teenage boys are similar when it comes to being influenced. They may not follow the pop and superstar era as much as the female teenagers but they are still influenced by fashion, music, TV and the latest video games.
When I was young and attending school, it wasn’t an item that I would spritz every day before heading off for my day of learning. Nowadays fragrances are more popular within the younger generation and there’s a concoction of scents around the school building and in the classroom.
Deodorants are introduced as teenagers hit around the age of 13/14 when it starts to become necessary for hygiene and the dreaded hormones start to surface. What we could get away with and not sweat after an afternoon of PE, isn’t the case when we reach puberty.
My eldest son was about 14 years old when he started to become interested in wearing more than just a deodorant to school. I also remember him being more interested in taking regular showers too! Maybe it’s a boy thing!
Choosing the right scent
It important to be careful not to choose a fragrance that is too strong for a youngster. Aiming for the more subtle scents that still allow a young person to feel good about themselves but also keeping the fragrance to a minimum is best.
These days there are more options to layering a scent which works well for those who are not keen on strong fragrances.
With so many colognes on the market today, it can be tricky to find one that is suitable.
Whether you’re into sport and prefer light scents or enjoy more spicy notes to match your mood or outfit, there will be something to suit everyone.
Colognes, just like perfume, come in different strengths so that you can choose the one that best fits the time of day, your outfit and surroundings.
If you need one to last all day, perhaps for attending a wedding, a longer lasting scent works well without the need to reapply. That’s definitely more of a female thing. We do like to keep a bottle in our hand bag for that quick spritz to freshen up.
Teenagers like easy going fragrance notes that still have masculinity and noticeable scents.
Working in the perfume industry gives my two sons a wonderful opportunity to try every sample in my fragrance case.
Buy samples to try
It’s important to try samples if you are thinking of changing your current scent or looking at buying one for the first time.
Everyone reacts differently to fragrances and what will suit one person won’t necessarily suit another so it’s great to be able to try a sample of a scent before you purchase.
If you have a favourite scent or would like to see the selection of body lotions, moisturisers and shower gels for both male, female and unisex, you can visit here to view our shop.
We have over 150 to choose from. Our perfumes and aftershaves are inspired by the designer brands so their perfume notes are very similar.

We already know that as soon as we spray on our favourite scent it lifts our mood and set us up for the rest of the day.
If somebody happens to comment on what fragrance you are wearing, it shows that you have chosen the right one for you and they like it too.
Being a teenager is challenging, we’ve all been through it and first impressions do last.
We are very aware of our surroundings and our peers and perhaps meeting and making new friends. So it’s important that we get it right with how we dress, how we conduct ourselves and how good we smell. That’s always going to be a good thing.
Cologne for teenage guys
Nowadays teenagers have a range of fashion sense. From wearing tracksuit outfits to baggy trousers or jeans. No two teenagers will dress the same, therefore we don’t expect them to wear the same scent as their friends.
We all dress for comfort and the teenagers of today are no exception. I can’t remember the last time my own children wore jeans if I’m honest. It’s definitely leaning more towards tracksuit bottoms, zip up hoodies and T-shirts. Loose clothing that can be worn everywhere and there are smart options to buy too.
What type of cologne is suitable for teenage guys?
Firstly, we need to consider their fashion sense, but also the kind of lifestyle they lead.
It’s also important to remember that some places may not allow the use of fragrances, such as certain schools or colleges.
But if you do find one that has very subtle fragrance notes, the scent can almost go unnoticed to others. I don’t feel that schools are as restricted as they used to be when it comes to clothing, make up and wearing a perfume etc.
Teachers know that youngsters of today want to look and feel good and there really isn’t any harm in wearing a light fragrance, the same as we would with spraying on a deodorant.
We are very mindful of teenagers today and the pressures of life that has a huge impact on their mental health and how they feel about themselves. There are so many more demands I feel for youngsters, especially when I look back at when I was at school.
Every young lad wants to feel sophisticated so let’s take a look at some of 2023’s popular colognes.

Understanding the preferences, personality, and lifestyle of the teenage guy is crucial when embarking on this fragrant journey.
By considering their individuality, one can discover scents that resonate with their unique style and amplify their self-assurance.
It is important to remember that fragrance is subjective and that there are no fixed rules or limitations when it comes to personal choices.

There won’t be many who haven’t heard of this young Canadian born singer, so we were curious to find out what Justin Bieber’s favourite fragrance is.
Every pop star of today has their own favourite fragrance that they enjoy wearing and the public like finding out these little pieces of info to see what their own favourite celebrity wears, how much they pay for such perfumes and where they can potentially grab a bottle for themselves.
Perfume and aftershave isn’t just about wearing a scent. It sets us all as individuals with our chosen fragrance and can say a lot about our personality, as well as making us feel happy, elegant and sophisticated.
A brief history into the pop star
Justin Bieber was born on the 1st of March 1994 in Canada.
In 2007, he was found by a Record Producer called Scooter Braun in 2008, who accidentally found a YouTube video of the young singer and was immediately impressed.
He then went out of his way to try to track down Bieber at a theatre that he was performing at and contacted his mother to discuss potentially signing the young singer.
After some persuasion and a little help by fellow church elders who convinced his mother to let Bieber begin working with Braun, they recorded a few demo tapes in Atlanta.
Braun clearly saw huge potential in the singer with his unique, smooth and almost calming vocals. Whenever we listen to his music, there is a velvety and delicate tone that blends each lyric into another.
With chart-topping hits such as Baby, What Do You Mean?, Love Yourself and Yummy to name a few, Justin was signed up to Raymond Braun Media Group, a record label that was a joint venture between Braun and another well-known pop superstar, Usher.
The legendary Justin Timberlake was also reportedly in the running for signing up the teen idol, but lost the bidding war to Usher, partly due to both having the same first name so the idea was dropped so as not to confuse the music market.
Bieber is a very creative writer where many of his songs tell a story of something or someone we call all relate to.
Justin is left handed. The first time he picked up a guitar, it was a right-handed one.
He tried to play the instrument backwards, although this proved to be difficult so his mum bought him a left-handed guitar, which he then used to learn how to play.

A fragrance that was created by Carolina Herrera, CH Prive for Men was launched in 2005 and this scent is a timeless classic that speaks elegance, luxury and passion.
This is Justin’s signature scent as he likes woody, earthly and masculine fragrance notes and the bottle ticks all the boxes for hitting his ideal smell.
A gorgeous scent that sits in the Oriental family, boasting fragrance notes of wood, leather and whiskey.
It is quite a powerful combination that will certainly get heads turning. Alongside its warm and spicy fragrance, it can be a little overwhelming so less is more with this scent.
It takes a certain person to be able to carry off this fragrance. Dare to be bold, adventurous and stand out, with Justin Bieber’s unique style. He wears it well.
The bottle alone screams sophisticated yet simplistic with its two-tone bottle colours of beige and black. A definite masculine feel with the shape and design that matches its accords.
Top notes: grapefruit, Pomelo
Heart notes: lavender, sage, red thyme, cardamom
Base notes: Leather, Tonka bean, benzoin
With its top and middle notes selection, one may feel that it edges towards a feminine scent but as we know, the base notes are what we are left with throughout the day so these are the important ones to go for.
There are great reviews online with many saying that it is an amazing scent.
“Long lasting, masculine yet sweet”
“Has a ‘bad boy’ feel to it”
Justin Beiber’s own creations
Aside from wearing a popular scent by Carolina Herrera, Justin has also launched his own fragrance collection for women.
At the age of 16, he released his first fragrance called My World back in November 2010.
Unusually, this fragrance isn’t sold as a liquid. Instead, it is sold as scent infused dog tags and wrist bands. Named after his 2010 tour, this scent is embedded into a resin and with technology that allows the scent to last for around a year.
A popular choice of fragrances notes too as this scent includes lychee, pomegranate, musk, cedar and bergamot.

A year later in 2011, Justin released his second fragrance called Someday which is an eau de parfum for women.
It has very fruity and sweet, vanilla notes and is aimed at the teenage girls who look up to and follow such a pop idol.

Bieber’s target market has the perfect scent here.
Top notes: red berries, mandarin orange and pear
Middle notes: jasmine, floral notes
Base notes: musk and vanilla.
Justin Bieber’s favourite fragrance holds a special place in his heart and serves as a testament to his personal journey and growth.

Men love a fragrance just as much as the women, so what are the best summer fragrances for men?
It’s not surprising why many women prefer to wear a male fragrance.
There is such a great range in gorgeous male scents available and popular summer scents are full of fresh, aquatic and citrus vibes.
The males take just as much care in their appearance as women and some of the fragrance notes in male products are real head turners.
Men prefer to travel light when going on their holidays. Much more than the women. We feel the need to take most of the wardrobe and every pair of shoes we own, to match our evening outfits.
A couple of pairs of shorts, a few tops and one pair of shoes seems to suit the men perfectly. Having a partner who travels light certainly has it’s advantages. More space in the suitcase for us ladies to fill those gaps with even more outfits and shoes!
We do leave a small space for their favourite fragrance though and it’s usually one that the woman has chosen!
Well, if we are spending a 2-week holiday together it’s important to make sure that our fellas have the best smelling fragrance to wear.
Men are more likely to buy a fragrance last minute at the Duty Free. This inevitably leads to them purchasing a female one for their partner too. There’s no escape lads!
The best summer fragrances for men
When we think of fragrance notes for men for summer wear, similar to females scents, we think of delicate aquatic notes.
A touch of citrus such as oranges, lemons or lime.
The same rule applies so nothing too heavy for the hot weather. Anything that reminds us of sandy beaches, cocktails and crashing waves are perfect.
Let’s take a look at some of the best summer fragrances for men.
1. Giorgio Armani- Aqua Di Gio
This gorgeous fragrance sits in the citrus family. With a wonderful combination of pineapple, lemon, peach, musk, sandalwood, cedar and ylang ylang, it’s easy to see why this fragrance is hugely popular for men.
This male scent is perfect for all year round with pineapple, blackcurrant, bergamot and apple as it’s top notes, it’s easy to see why it’s ideal for summer. A wonderful bottle of freshness to try.
Having base notes of vanilla, ambergris and oak moss makes it a suitable scent that can we worn for any occasion and season. It’s a very masculine scent and a popular choice for many males.
3. Dior- Savage
Dior Savage has become very popular over the last few years and is another fragrance that suits most seasons.
With notes of pepper, lavender, patchouli and bergamot, Savage is ideal for the evening meal whilst away. It’s also a good scent to wear whilst chilling on the beach or sitting at a taverna drinking cocktails.
It carries its freshness well and is often worn as a signature fragrance because it is suitable for all year round.
4. Kenzo- Pour Homme
Kenzo Pour Homme works well as a summer fragrance with top notes of seaweed, mahogany and bergamot.
There’s a real feel of freshness and the seaweed gives it that edge of saltiness.
Once the top notes have worn off and you are left with the middle and base notes of sage, Jasmine, patchouli, ambergris, cedar and oak moss, this fragrance pops a floral scent.
One of the very versatile fragrances that would suit perfectly for daytime wear whilst you are enjoying your holiday.
5. Dolce & Gabbana- Light Blue
If you love strong fruit flavours then D&C Light Blue is a great choice this summer. There’s a wonderful scent on holidays with the fragrance notes as we smell grapefruit, Sicilian mandarin, rosemary, rosewood and musk.
Any fragrance that contains musk has my vote. It’s such a light and delicate scent that really works well for summer as it’s not too powerful or heavy.
It has a sharpness to it that works so well during the hot months. If you’re buying this fragrance for your holidays, it’s worth noting that it can wear off fairly quickly so may not be suitable for a lasting scent during the evening.
Perfect for a spritz by the pool or dipping in and out of the sea.
6. Giorgio Armani-Aqua Di Gio
The name alone screams out class and coolness.
If you’re looking for a scent that has a bit more longevity, then Giorgio Armani-Aqua Di Gio is the perfect match.
Full of summer notes such as lime, neroli, jasmine, peach and rose, this fragrance will certainty fit the bill. With base notes of ambergris, cedar and oak moss, this gives the scent a longer lasting aroma and both middle and base notes keep the scent long-lasting.
7. Davidoff-Cool Water
The female version of this fragrance is refreshing and Davidoff’s Cool Water is no exception. Beautiful top notes of lavender, peppermint, rosemary and orange blossom make this scent one of the favourites for men.
We do think of summer and holidays with the title alone and with a reasonable price, it’s a popular fragrance to wear all year round.
8. Ralph Lauren-Polo Blue
Another fragrance that hits the favourite summer notes is Ralph Lauren-Polo Blue.
Consisting of very delicate notes such as melon, cucumber and clementine, they’re the kind of notes you could pop into your drink and sit with your feet dipped into the pool.
The base notes of patchouli, white amber and oak moss ensure this fragrance lasts long into the evening for a refreshing scent that lingers.
The perfect blend of notes for the hot weather and an all round scent that’s perfect for the beach or a night out at a taverna.
9. Calvin Klein-CK One Summer
This fragrance is unisex so it makes the perfect scent to take away for a holiday, when both you and your partner can use it.
A refreshing and typical summer scent with its mixture of cedarwood, guava and mojito, ( a cocktail of flavours consisting of lime or lemon juice, mint and white rum).
Calvin Klein’s CK One Summer is another scent, like Dolce & Gabanna-Light Blue, has a short longevity and works very well during hot days, by the beach or dipping in and out of the pool.
10. Jean Paul Gaultier-Le Beau
This fragrance brings summer in a bottle with its combination of sweet notes such as bergamot, coconut and tonka bean.
Added to the great style of such a bottle and we are truly ready for summer.
Citrus scents are hugely popular during the summer and as soon as you open this fragrance, there is an instant whiff of citrus, followed by the coconut.
Most of us recognize a coconut scent with sun lotion but this fragrance is more over- powered by the tonka bean.
It’s a very versatile fragrance and definitely one to consider for your holiday.
So there we have 10 suitable male fragrances that all work well during the summer months, whether you use them daily or keep them for when you travel abroad.
If you like designer fragrances but the price is a little on the dear side, FM World have around 100 fragrances for men and you can try a sample before you purchase.

If you’re looking for affordable perfumes that smell expensive, we have an insight into the best fragrances.
Everyone loves a bargain and getting value for money.
The perfume world continues to sour every year with such a variety of fragrances.
Celebrity endorsed, copies of designer scents, own shop brands and perfumes that contain similar notes to that of the designers.
At FM World, there is a huge selection of perfumes and aftershaves that suit any budget.
There’s nothing good about wearing a perfume or aftershave that smells cheap.
Heavy scents can linger for hours as well as very weak scents not lasting as long as we’d like.
Many of us will reach for the designer bottles because they are known and trusted to us.
When the fragrance has a celebrity endorser too, this makes the product more appealing even though it can be a little expensive.
The market has and will always have designer brands being sold for cheap. These are usually fake and should be avoided.
Read our article on why buying cheap perfume will cost you more.
We like to have the best of both worlds. A fragrance that has a pleasant and suitable scent, long-lasting and kind to the purse strings or wallet.
Some will wait for a special occasion before purchasing the designer scents or purchase at the Duty Free for a small discount.
What about when you want to purchase your favourite scent without having to wait for these occasions ?
There will be many places online that sell designer scents that are fitting to people’s budgets but there are other options.
At FM World, they have created their own unique scents for men and women.
A large range of fragrances to suit everyone’s budget without compromising on the quality or longevity of their scents.
How can they do this ?
We already know that perfumes and aftershaves are made up from perfume oil, alcohol and fragrance notes but what makes a perfume so expensive ?
In my previous article I cover why some designer perfumes have a big price tag.
The unique way that FM World have created their own scents and kept them affordable isn’t complicated.
Celebrities are constantly endorsing the latest fragrances and we see the advert, usually around Christmas, where that particular bottle is being advertised by a top actress, model or film star.
This page contains affiliate links. Should you click on a link and make a purchase, I may receive compensation.
It’s a very clever way of getting a product in front of the customer and a large audience at that.
FM World saw an opportunity to create beautiful fragrances that both men and women can enjoy and be able to afford.
Not just on special occasions, but regular purchasing once their favourite scent had been used and needed replacing.
Customers are able to do this as well as having a selection of their favourite scents to choose from and having the option to wear a different one every day if they desired.
Having no middle man, TV advertising or sales people advertising their brand means that they can keep costs to a minimum whilst still creating beautiful scents that customers are familiar with.
The perfume world has seen such names as Tom Ford and Jo Malone scents become very popular of late along with the likes of the iconic Chanel, Paco Rabanne and Lancôme still dominating the perfume industry.
We could potentially pay anything from £70- £120 for such high profile scents.
Whilst there will indeed be many that will happily pay such a price for their perfume or aftershave, a lot of what we are purchasing is around the packaging, the celebrity endorser and the TV advert.
Can we really buy our favourite scent cheaper?
No one likes cheap perfume and aftershave.
It often has a different smell, doesn’t last for the duration that we hope for and in some cases where a product has been ‘copied’, you’re dealing with fake packaging and fake liquids in a fake bottle.
An affordable range at FM WorldFM fragrances for men and women don’t compromise on quality even though they do has a more affordable price tag.As previously covered, Fm use perfume oil from a company called DROM.DROM also provide perfume oil for the designer perfumes and aftershaves that we see on our shelves and online today. When customers ask about our fragrances, we advise that FM scents have very similar fragrance notes to that of the designer perfumes.
We use a fragrance wheel to determine what type of fragrance notes the customer particularly likes.
Floral, oriental, woody, citrus etc.
Once we learn the type of fragrance notes that a customer likes, this will enable us to narrow down a selection of perfumes or aftershave that contain those fragrance notes that the customer likes.
For example, if a customer likes fruity scents then we has a selection of perfume fragrances that contain fruity notes.
When the customer try’s a sample which are available to purchase from our online store here, this will give them the chance to try the scent on the skin to see if it is a fit for them.
We always recommend that a fragrance should be tried on the skin and left for a couple of minutes as this will determine if that fragrance is suitable for that particular person.
We all wear fragrances differently and what suits one person wouldn’t necessarily suit another.
It is great that we have the option these days to try fragrances before we purchase, especially if we do steer towards the expensive perfumes.
Many perfume stores and departments will spray the perfume on a test paper strip for you to try.
Whilst this is okay to get an initial test of the fragrance, this won’t determine what the fragrance smells like on your skin.
It is much better and more effective to try directly on the skin to get a proper feel and smell of your new scent before you make a purchase.
Similar fragrance notes
All fragrances that FM sell has very similar notes to the designer fragrances.
If a customer has a favourite perfume scent such as Coco mademoiselle by Chanel then we can look on our perfume list to see what perfume is very similar to that designer perfume.
We can’t sell a bottle of Coco mademoiselle to a customer because we don’t sell it. Our fragrance bottles are numbered and are in their own bottles and packaging.
Fm haven’t copied any of the designers. Simply by using similar fragrance notes to that of the designer fragrances, gives FM perfumes a very similar and familiar scent to what we already know.
Our range of quality fragrancesIn our range we have PURE and PURE ROYAL selection. We also has a UTIQUE range. All of our fragrances contain either 20% or 30% perfume oil. 30% is our INTENSE range.Shop here for our collection. Many designer fragrances are Eau De Toilette scents and therefore they won’t last as long as an Eau de parfum because their perfume oil has been diluted down.At FM, we can afford to use 20% pure perfume. The reason behind this is that we have no celebrity endorser, we don’t have anyone advertising our product on TV and we don’t have any sales assistance in the shops selling it either.
Giving the customer what they want
By cutting out the middleman in our manufacturing, we can provide the customer with a quality perfume or aftershave that will last around eight hours if the 20% perfume range is bought.
By purchasing the 30% pure perfume range, will mean that your fragrance will last even longer. A great choice for a longer- lasting scent.

Celebrity fragrances- Paco Rabanne-1 Million
I mentioned about popular celebrity fragrances that are around at the moment.
Let’s take a look at Paco Rabanne– 1 million.
A very popular scent for men that could set you back around £70 if you were to purchase from stores such as Superdrug.
Although you are likely to get a 100mil bottle for this price, it is an Eau de Toilette spray so will last around 4-6 hours.
The fragrance notes in this perfume consist of fresh grapefruit, mandarin and peppermint alongside rose absolute, cinnamon bark and mask. The base has an ultra masculine leather scent.
FM has a very similar scent to that of Paco Rabanne – 1 million which falls in the oriental notes family.
Compare the notes to FM199 PURE ROYAL ( our inspired fragrance) and you will see that they are very similar but not the same.
Type: rich, multi-threaded Fragrance notes:
Head: Italian mandarin, peppermint
Heart: cinnamon, Turkish rose, cardamom
Base: leather note
Saving you money on the things you love
For a 50m bottle, you will get 20% pure fragrance oil and an affordable price tag of just £27.50.
Another great fact with some of our fragrances is that other products in the same scent can be purchased too.
With FM 199 fragrance, we has a refreshing aftershave lotion and an aftershave balm to compliment their perfume.
When there is a scent that has similar notes to the designer scents at an affordable price, it’s no wonder that FM World is in its 13th year celebrating such mastery in the fragrance world.

Available from our online shop
Men rarely shop for their own fragrances so here we’ll show you where to buy cologne online.
It’s very much a female thing, purchasing fragrances.
Men just wait and see what they have been bought as a gift rather than going into the shops to look for themselves.
Women enjoy browsing the stores as well as online. It’s like retail therapy.
Even when women don’t purchase anything, it’s going out and mingling that is just as enjoyable.
Men and shopping
For men, shopping in general is often a quick dash into their chosen shop and if they are looking online, the last thing they’re looking at his cologne.
Show them a website with work tools, golf gear or anything to do with football and they’ll certainly be interested.
There will of course be some men who never wear cologne or aftershave.
Working from home
Especially of late, with so many lock downs. Many males are working from home with their office set up in the dining room or a spare bedroom.
The last thing they are looking for is a fragrance. Many didn’t bother wearing one as they weren’t visiting customers’ face to face or having meetings in the office.
So what about the ones who do like to wear a cologne?
Women will definitely have a better idea of how and where to shop for a fragrances and will review all the factors before making a purchase.
Cost, fragrances notes and sustainability
Men have a narrower idea of things to look out for so will often buy in haste.
The trouble with buying fragrances quickly and in haste is that mistakes can be made.
It’s not all about the price tag
Many will see an expensive price tag and automatically assume that they are going to get a good quality fragrance.
This isn’t necessarily the case. More affordable fragrances can often be of better quality and longer-lasting.
Several companies out there have proved just that. One of them being FM Cosmetics.
As we have covered previously, an expensive price tag is very often linked to the fancy packaging, fancy fragrance design and the celebrity endorser.
All of these factors add up and can set you back a fair amount in price.
Any Tom Ford fans I’m sure will have come across the range with their hefty price tags, especially when buying direct.
It’s important not to shy away from the lower priced fragrances simply because they are cheaper.
We already know that the first whiff of a fragrance is not the same notes that we smell by the end of the day.
Many are led to believe that the first smell of a fragrance is how the bottle will smell during the day.
This is why it is so important to try fragrance samples first if you can.
Adding a scent to your skin and leaving it for a few hours will determine if the middle and base notes are just as suitable as the top notes.
A more suitable option than using fragrance strips as all fragrances will smell completely different once they are on the skin.
It’s a misconception that fragrances that have floral notes are simply just for women.
There are lots of men’s aftershaves and colognes on the market that have a floral scent to them even though they are still classed as masculine.
Several that are suitable for women even though they sit in a department store in the men’s section of fragrances.
These days, we don’t need to be gender conscious.
A lot of men will be very visual when buying a cologne. They’ll see a bottle that looks masculine, have a whiff of the spray in store and purchase without much hesitation.
They want to be in and out of the shop as quickly as possible.
With the huge amount of selection that we find in the shops and online today, there are so many scents to choose from.
Men don’t want to hang about sniffing five or six individual sprays at the perfume counter. Two or three will suffice.
Typically, they will aim for a brand that they know and once this is in sight, they can then try two or three from that range.
Men will use several other products before they add any cologne.
Shower gels, hair gel, deodorant. Perhaps a body lotion too.
This mixture will all impact the choice of fragrance and not just for the men.
Ladies will also use shower gels, hairspray, hand creams and deodorant. The good news is that there are products on the market that will complement a fragrance.
Matching deodorant, body sprays and hand cream will ensure that you smell of one fragrance instead of a concoction of scents.
So let’s take a look at some stores online.
