What Perfume Does Kate Middleton Wear
What perfume does Kate Middleton wear? On September 19th, the nation celebrated the life and bid an emotional farewell to Her Royal Highness and laid her to rest. We saw a new King (King Charles III) and a new Prince and Princess of Wales.
Watching the royals look dignified and graceful, we’re curious about what fragrance the new Princess of Wales wears.
As discussed in our recent article What perfume did Queen Elizabeth wear, our attention was very much drawn to the beauty and elegance of our new Princess.
There will be many women, I’m sure, who look up to our Princess of Wales and admire her complexion and beautiful locks.
Kate always stands out in the crowd elegantly, so it’s no surprise that she chooses a beautiful scent to match her sparkle and beauty.
Being one of the most talked about women in the world, Kate has influenced those around her, not just with her sense of style but with her choice of perfume.
According to sources, she created her wedding around this beautifully fruity scent and wore it daily, not just for royal duties.
What perfume does Kate Middleton wear
Whilst Kate’s signature perfume may set you back a little with its ‘Royal’ price tag, especially if you purchase from the designer’s website, she certainly has a wonderful eye and nose for gorgeous fragrances when choosing her favourite perfume.
Jo Malone-Orange Blossom
Kate Middleton (now known as The Princess of Wales) is a big fan of Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom.
This fragrance, launched in 2003 by Jean Claude Delville, brings the delights of a summer garden to life with its excellent selection of ingredients.
It is also one of the most popular scents worn by many celebrities, including Emilia Fox and Katie Holmes.
Although a very floral and elegant spring/summer scent, Orange Blossom is a unisex fragrance. Therefore, it has a great balance of notes that make it suitable for both men and women.
Jo Malone has created a unique scent that works wonderfully as a unisex choice.
When we have citrus-based fragrances, a distinctive mood-lifting vibe is instantly created.
Citrus scents are perfect for spring and summer occasions. Their sharp and tangy notes create energy, happiness, and memories.
We must choose the right scent for our skin, as not everyone suits the same scent.
We should also choose a fragrance that is uplifting and memorable for ourselves. A scent that reminds others of our presence also shows a great choice of perfume.
Fragrances notes of Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom
Top notes: Tangerine Blossom
Heart notes: Orange blossom, water lily and lilac
Base notes: Vetiver and Iris
Although this perfume sits within the oriental fragrance family, as soon as it is sprayed, there is an instant whiff of orange and citrus fruits.
The heart notes pop through as the top notes settle, and the lilac is very noticeable with the water lily. The base note of Vetiver is a stunning scent, which is another reason why this fragrance is so popular.
There is a distinctive smell of freshness as the notes settle on the skin, which is why it is such a versatile perfume. Some may be led to believe that it is too fruity or feminine to be suitable for a male wearer.
Once the heart and base notes settle and are left for the remainder of their longevity, it’s easy to learn why it is just as famous for men when the crisp freshness sits wonderfully on the skin for that touch of masculinity.
Being one of the most popular scents from the Jo Malone collection, another advantage of such a popular fragrance is that you can bring this gorgeous scent into your home and garden with its added selection of products.
Jo Malone has also created a candle, diffuser, solid perfume scent, body and hand wash, and body crème in the same fragrance. Just delightful!
Candle
Everyone loves a candle. Indoors or outside, candles give a sense of calmness, warmth and relaxation.
With such notes as mentioned above, the Jo Malone candle enriches the home with the same beautiful freshness.
With its elegant and simplistic jar, it will suit any home. It has a burn time of approximately 45 hours, with a lid included for when it’s not used.
Diffuser
Many people have reed diffusers around their homes, creating a fantastic atmosphere, whatever the season.

The Jo Malone body and hand wash are refreshing, with meadowfoam seed oil (extracted from the seeds of Limnanthes Alba). It has a hint of shimmering orange blossom and warm undertones of orris and balsamic vetiver.
This lotion will leave the skin feeling soft and conditioned as it emulsifies into a rich lather.
It not only makes your skin smell gorgeous but also brings an element of freshness and an uplifting scent to the bathroom.
Body cream
The Jo Malone body cream contains conditioning oils of jojoba, sweet almond, and cocoa seeds to help hydrate and protect the skin. It also has a beautiful hint of orange blossom fragrance to balance out your perfume.
This is a wonderful collection that will enhance your perfume, and you can continue its beautiful scent with a variety of products.

The Best Perfume For A Wedding Day
A special day deserves the right fragrance, so what about choosing the best perfume for a wedding day?
Whether you are the bride or groom, finding the right scent will make the day more special and memorable, so we will look at both female and male scents.
A few years back, weddings seemed to be more of a summer season function due to having the best weather we could hope for.
It is the perfect backdrop for photos with the sun shining, the flowers in full bloom, and the wedding party wearing gorgeous summer dresses to compliment their suntan.
For those living and getting married in the UK, summer weather was often unpredictable, so brides-to-be would opt for the summer months, hoping the weather would be perfect for their important day.
Nowadays, weddings occur abroad and during the winter months, too, so finding the right scent for the right time of year and memorable occasion can be challenging.
The best perfume for a wedding day
First, we need a scent that makes a lasting impression and can re-create special memories each time it is worn.
Perfume, like music, has the beautiful ability to bring back memories and the wedding day for both the man and woman is to be forever treasured and remembered.
Secondly, we need a scent that lasts the whole day without the need to reapply. There are plenty of scents for such an occasion, whether for a male or female.
Depending on the time of year/season of the wedding, this will help narrow the selection accordingly.
Anyone who has ever attended a wedding knows it’s a hectic time surrounded by many family members, friends, and special guests. Everyone wants the day to run smoothly and be perfect for the bride and groom.
Wearing an overpowering scent for those around you will be noticeable and memorable, but for the wrong reasons.
The bride
The bride is the first person everyone looks at, so the guests will notice every tiny detail. From the hair and make-up to the beautiful dress she will be wearing.
Whilst perfume isn’t seen, the right fragrance will impact the groom and the guests.
As the bride walks down the aisle, those attending will notice her elegance and beauty as she walks past.
Depending on her chosen one, any scent she may be wearing could be significant or subtle.
Some may be led to believe that to have a fragrance that lasts for several hours or indeed all day, they need to wear one that has strong fragrance notes.
Wearing an overpowering scent will spoil your dress and first impression as a bride. We don’t need to wear a solid perfume to stand out and be noticed.
Having a subtle and elegant scent that softly lingers as you walk past your guests in the church will have heads turning just as much as your outfit, so choosing the most suitable one is essential.
The groom
It is just as crucial as the bride and groom at the wedding. While many eyes will be on the bride as the couple walks down the aisle, the groom will still have eyes watching him, and the perfect scent will be noticeable, too. There is something exquisite about a perfectly groomed male wearing a crisp new suit and having the most incredible scent lingering as they walk past. His bride will appreciate it just as much as their guests.
The season- things to consider
Are you getting married during the month of spring? Look for floral-based scents to bring the outside smells of fresh flowers and warm days to life with your perfume.
Possibly the most popular scents today are those that are so versatile and can be worn day or night, whatever the season.
If your wedding is held during summer, regardless of the country and the weather is forecast to be as hot, choosing a perfume where the base notes don’t react with the hot temperatures is essential.
One option, as discussed in a previous post, the best summer fragrance for women, is to opt for a body spray.
These will be much lighter than perfume and, therefore, will rest on the skin without the heat from the weather or your body heat reacting negatively.
Wearing the wrong scent during hot weather can make your choice of fragrance smell more extreme as the heat reacts.
If your wedding is planned to fall in the autumn, such fragrances can have deeper base notes and be more oriental and woody.
Choosing one that isn’t too heavy with such notes is still essential. When choosing the right heart and base notes, winter weddings can have a similar theme.
The skin is much more relaxed, so there is no risk of the scent reacting with body heat, and therefore, a wider choice of scents is available. Of course, many brides may not wish to wear any perfume or body fragrance.
Hair perfume is the perfect solution for those who are not perfume lovers. It allows you to still carry a scent without having it directly on your skin. Many women may want to have a different scent from what they would normally wear so that it feels more special to have a new scent.
Others will keep to their trusted favourite signature scent that everyone knows and recognizes.
Whatever a bride chooses, it has to be their own decision about what they wear or don’t.

Perfume samples
The wonderful thing about perfume is the chance to purchase and try samples. This is especially important for the big day.
As you will read in the same article, samples also make beautiful favours. While we can avoid buying clothing without trying it on, perfume is a personal item.
Many places may not accept exchanges or refunds once the packaging and bottle have been opened.

This scent honestly does scream masculinity on the first sniff. Its crisp and sharp note will complement any delicate flower notes that his bride is wearing. It is long-lasting, has a scent that has an impact, and is best sprayed lightly.
Jo Malone-unisex fragrances
Jo Malone is a trendy brand of fragrance that both men and women will have heard of or tried. The outstanding attribute of this brand is that Jo Malone perfumes are unisex fragrances with a beautiful balance of notes that suit either sex.
Why choose a unisex fragrance?
Some may say it’s the perfect solution when trying to find the right scent, not only for the bride but also that balances well with the groom’s choice of fragrance.
A unisex scent that both bride and groom can wear on their special day would seem to be the answer for those who struggle to find ‘matching scents’.
One that also saves money when out looking and purchasing a memorable perfume for such a special day. So, if we choose a Jo Malone scent, a brand with a relatively large selection, which one do we choose for the special day?
Peony & Blush Suede- Jo Malone
Launched in 2013, Peony & Bush Suede is a popular choice for both sexes.
Top notes: apple
Heart notes: peony – floral rose and honey with a subtle green aroma
Base notes: suede – complimenting this wonderfully simplistic bottle’s floral luxury and hints of sensual notes.
This popular scent is the epitome of charm and flirtatiousness. Finding the right scent is just as crucial for men.
Suppose you both choose to wear different fragrances. Select ones that complement one another, and try samples first if you prefer something new. At FM World, we have samples at your fingertips.

What Perfume Did Queen Elizabeth Wear?
Our late Queen certainly had good taste in colours, as evidenced by her outfits, handbags, and jewellery. But what perfume did Queen Elizabeth wear?
When it comes to perfume, everyone has their own unique scent and favourite aroma. Many have a signature scent that reminds everyone around them of their presence.
Our late Sovereign never needed a particular scent to stand out or be noticed; her presence in this world was by far the greatest.
However, the Queen wanted to wear a scent for all of her duties and events, so let’s take a look at what perfume our beloved Queen wore.
According to Vogue Magazine, one of Queen Elizabeth’s favourite scents was Guerlain L’Heare Bleue, which was first created in 1912.
Surprisingly, it’s not as expensive as we may think either.
Some may say that $126.00/£108.00 from their website is a pretty reasonable price, especially for someone as high-profile as Her Majesty.
Other places like eBay will have various prices, so it’s worth checking them out.

Take a look on eBay for Guerlain L’Heare perfume.
We almost see a touch of royalty in the shape of this perfume bottle that Raymond Guerlain designed. The soft top edges nearly look like a scroll, used by the ancient Greeks and with a hollowed heart as its stopper, it gives a sense of royalty and romance.
Another’ royal’ look is also evident with the blue circled label in the centre of the bottle. When we learn of the fragrance notes behind this scent, some might say that our Queen should be wearing it, too.
Top notes: Aniseed, bergamot
Heart notes: Tuberose, carnation, violet, rose and Neroli.
Base notes: Tonka bean, iris, benzoin and vanilla.
Take a look at the heart notes, in particular, in this scent. What a wonderful combination of flowers—those that speak volumes when it comes to royalty.
Quite fitting also that L’Heure Bleue marks the meeting of two soulmates destined to become one in the frisson of eternity “-Guerlain.com.
Iris is one of the most expensive and admired fragrance ingredients, so it’s easy to learn why this perfume is fit for a Queen and is the key ingredient in this bottle.
The top notes give a distinctive smell of aniseed with a fresh scent of bergamot – a beautiful combination of floral, citrus and tangy notes. The base notes are rich and warm in toasted almonds, vanilla, nutty, cinnamon and spicy scents.
Three stages of perfume notes
We know that perfume goes through three stages when worn on the skin, and we instantly smell the top notes of any perfume.
These notes will hit us instantly as soon as we spray our scent. They are our first impression of a fragrance and the first to leave your skin.
The top notes are often fresh, citrus, and refreshing. Once they calm down, usually around 5 minutes after being on the skin, we then smell a selection of heart notes.
The heart notes of a scent are the main centrepiece of a perfume, and the notes we smell tend to linger between 6 and 8 hours after the perfume has been sprayed.
As these notes last longer than the top notes, they usually have a lingering floral and woody scent.
Once those heart notes have settled down, we appreciate the base notes, which remain for the rest of the perfume’s duration.
Alongside the heart notes, the base notes are also the scents that those around us will continuously smell.
Base notes are the foundation of perfume and almost the lasting scent and impression.
These notes are the ones that others will remember you by, bring back fond memories and add fullness and depth to your scent.
Base notes are often woody, with a delicate fragrance of musk, and they are the longest-lasting within your chosen perfume.
If you purchase a perfume or aftershave that contains 20% perfume oil, such as FM World fragrances, the scent will last for perhaps longer than 8 hours.
This also depends on your skin type too.
Depending on the strength of the perfume you have purchased, whether it be an eau de toilette, eau de perfume, or perfume, can also determine how long the fragrance lasts.
Another favourite scent for the Queen
Another popular choice of perfume that the Queen has been known to wear and that is affordable is White Rose by Floris, created by Mr John Floris in the early 1800s.
Florence Nightingale has also worn this scent, and it is cruelty-free.
This more simplistic bottle design will set you back around $145.00/£80.00 within many perfume lovers’ budgets.
This bottle also shows that the Queen has a favourite when it comes to particular fragrance notes.
Fragrances notes in White Rose by Floris
Top notes: Aldehydic green and carnation
Heart notes: Iris, rose, jasmine and violet
Base notes: Amber, musk, and powdery notes
- As one might expect with a name like White Rose, this fragrance is lightweight, doesn’t overpower, and lasts around 9 hours.
It brings a sense of bouquet flowers with its soft choice of aroma. Another scent that has iris notes that are balanced out well with the amber and musk.
Our Queen had great taste in perfume—classy scents to match her classic dress sense.
Have you ever tried these perfumes that the Queen has worn? Let me know below. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Perfume That Smells Like Flowers
With summer well and truly here to stay, many of us are reaching for floral scents. Something delicate to wear and perfume that smells like flowers suits the heat.
Of course, it’s not just women who wear floral scents. Many male fragrances have a touch of feminine flowers in them. These scents will fall more in the Chypre family, so there will be a hint of more oriental and woody aromas.
With so many unisex fragrances available on the market today, many of these will have a balance of masculine and feminine scents in their bottle. There are lots of flowers on which perfumes are based, too.
Musk
Floral
Rose
Tropical
Be careful how much you spray
Floral-based perfumes can often smell too sweet and sickly if too much is sprayed on, so less is more for the summer months. The heat from our bodies and the atmosphere can increase the vibrancy of a perfume, so it is best to find a delicate scent or spray a smaller amount.
If you are new to the fragrance world, it can be hard to find a scent suitable for your skin. Samples are a great way to try a new scent, and it is well worth trying on a few different ones from all the various fragrance families. Once you know your family type and what suits you best, you can narrow down the other ingredients you want in your fragrance. When we think of floral perfumes, we don’t just think of flowers.
The floral family has many elements so that we will find scents from fruit, citrus, woody, aldehyde, and water-green notes. Flower perfumes seem to dominate the fragrance world as they are so popular and in the majority of our bottles. They are also suitable for both male and female scents.

Flower Bomb- Victor & Rolf
Flower Bomb was launched in 2005 and is an explosion of summer scents. This fragrance was undoubtedly created with pure femininity in mind. Very sweet and unforgettable in its ability to linger and turn heads, Flower Bomb is still one of the best-selling perfumes of today. A mixture of flower scents includes patchouli, rose, jasmine, and freesia.
With base notes of vanilla, musk, and patchouli, it’s little surprise that this perfume has a very sweet aroma. This perfume will suit any age and is particularly suitable for the spring and summer months when floral dresses are dominating the shops and garden flowers are in full bloom.
Alien-Thierry Mugler
Another scent that became hugely popular in 2005 was Alien. Thierry Mugler has created an acquired scent with this very feminine perfume. Like its deep purple bottle design, Alien gives an instant summer scent with its simplistic floral notes. There’s a strong scent of sambac jasmine as soon as the first spray hits your skin, and with a heart note of cashmere wood and a base note of white amber, every woman will feel sensual wearing this scent.
With its woody scent, it perfectly balances the floral notes. After the first spray has worn to its middle notes, there is even a hint of musk.
Good Girl Gone Bad
The bottle alone shows class, elegance and sophistication as we experience the floral summer scents of this 2012 perfume.
The history behind this creation is one about Eve, God’s creation. She started off being pure and innocent before trying the forbidden fruit, and this scent belongs to the Killian collection of fragrances based around women of today who are unafraid to be sultry and bold.
A wonderful combination of fragrance notes, including jasmine, rose, amber, cedar, orange blossom, and osmanthus, gives this perfume a very feminine feel.
Kilian Good Girl Gone Bad Eau Fraiche 50ml Spray for Her
Daisy-Marc Jacobs
The name alone speaks volumes regarding perfume that smells like flowers. Its distinctive flowery bottle cap and soft edges give a real sense of pretty Daisies, lavender fields’ and summer.
Created in 2007, Daisy is a classic in the perfume world and has stayed at the forefront of many of its competitions for the past 15 years. It has a proper aroma of freshness, making it the perfect scent for youngsters as well as the more mature.
It bursts with fruity scents and is a fresh fragrance that sits perfectly on the skin during summer. Daisy has a very distinctive fragrance, which is why so many women love it.
What’s not to love about wild berries, musk, jasmine, and vanilla? Some vanilla notes can be overpowering in certain perfumes, but Daisy has just the right blend of musk and white wood base notes to still allow you to enjoy its pretty delicate scent.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau De Toilette 100ml Spray
Perfect- Marc Jacobs
Another “perfect” scent by Marc Jacobs was a relatively new release to the perfume world when it launched in 2020. In a very similar style to Daisy, Perfect also showcases a wonderful and creative design in its bottle cap.
This time, it was adorned with charms in the shape of dice, a star, a shoe, a peeled banana, MJ initials on gold cubes, and a hair bow on its cap. All were created by the man himself to give the scent a very feminine, playful, and elegant feel.
This perfume brings out the summer in everyone as soon as the bottle is sprayed. A combination of fruit, almond, wood, sweet, nutty, and musk notes gives this classic bottle its popularity.
Unisex scents
Rose Prick- Tom Ford
Tom Ford’s fragrances have become very successful and widespread over the past few years, and it’s easy to see why. Rose Prick is a unisex scent that almost looks like it belongs in the ladies’ section of any perfume store. This unisex fragrance is inspired by Tom Ford’s garden of rose scents. To match up to its name, Rose Prick contains fragrance notes to give its name justice.
Rose, pepper, spice and patchouli give this scent a wild and open field vibe. Even though its aroma sits in the Chypre family, there is still a scent of flowers and summer scents that fits and is balanced perfectly for both men and women.
Fleur De Portofino-Tom Ford unisex
Another of Tom Ford’s creations, perhaps with a slightly more masculine bottle, is Fleur De Portofino. The name itself instantly transports us to faraway places and tropical flowers. Its floral and fruity scent works well on both men and women. Launched in 2015, it has notes of citrus, honey, bergamot, jasmine, and violet leaf that almost veer towards a feminine approach.
They cleverly transport us to a tropical paradise, where we envisage clear seas, coastal sands, and wildflowers cascading around the high rocks of the coast.
Male scents
Fahrenheit- Dior
There won’t be many who haven’t heard of this fragrance. Launched in 1988, Fahrenheit cologne is a timeless classic. Although it is another scent in the Cypre family, it also contains floral notes of bergamot, mandarin, patchouli, vetiver, carnation, and violet leaves.
The packaging and bottle transport us to faraway places with their unique ‘sunset’ colours. It is suitable to wear all year round. The initial smell comes across as woody and leather, but after a few minutes on the skin, a delicate smell of fruit and violets comes through, giving this fragrance a delicate yet masculine feel.
Christian Dior fahrenheit 100ml eau de toilette spray
Light Blue
Launched in 2001, Light Blue has a gorgeous, fresh summer smell when it is first sprayed. Almost instantly, the citrus and fruity notes hit your nose. It holds a masculine yet playful vibe, which is what makes it such a popular choice for men.
It is a beautiful collaboration of grapefruit, bergamot, juniper, pepper, rosemary, musk, oakmoss, and Sicilian mandarin, to name a few of its notes. Light Blue reminds us of open spaces, holidays abroad and linen shirts.
DOLCE & GABBANA LIGHT BLUE FOR WOMEN 50ML EDT SPRAY
So there you have it—a collection of male and female perfume that smells like flowers.

Celebrities Who Have Their Own Fragrance
It’s a widely acknowledged phenomenon that numerous celebrities lend their names and faces to endorse designer perfumes. Yet, amidst this prevalent trend lies a lesser-explored realm: celebrities who venture into crafting their fragrances.
While celebrities undoubtedly earn a substantial percentage from endorsing established designer scents, there’s a burgeoning market for those who choose to extend their influence by creating their olfactory masterpieces.
Among the fragrance landscape, perennial classics like Chanel No. 5 stand as timeless icons, perpetually adorning the olfactory realms of aficionados. Equally ubiquitous are the annual spectacles of fragrance campaigns, such as the enchanting La Vie Est Belle adverts that grace our screens, particularly during the festive season. These fragrances, intertwined with the mystique of celebrity endorsement, have cemented their status as cultural touchstones, evoking nostalgia and allure with each spritz.
Yet, in celebrity fragrance, there exists a compelling narrative beyond mere endorsement. Many notable figures embody their olfactory preferences through their creations, eschewing the role of mere endorsers. As previously explored in discussions surrounding ‘What Perfumes Do Celebrities Wear,’ it becomes evident that for some luminaries, the allure lies not in donning established scents but in crafting their olfactory symphonies.
For these celebrities, fragrance becomes more than a fleeting accessory—it becomes a personal statement, a tangible extension of their identity and persona. Through their creations, they invite admirers into a sensory journey, encapsulating their essence within each carefully curated note. In doing so, they transcend the realm of mere endorsement, assuming the mantle of creators and curators of fragrance.
Thus, while the allure of designer perfumes endorsed by celebrities remains undeniably potent, an equally compelling allure exists in the fragrances crafted by the luminaries. Within this dynamic interplay between endorsement and creation, the true essence of celebrity fragrance emerges—a realm where scent becomes synonymous with identity and where the allure of celebrity transcends the mere confines of stardom.
One may perceive it as a remarkably astute marketing strategy. Top celebrities who wear their unique scent are already one step ahead, as potential customers actively seek out the fragrance favoured by their pop idols or favourite film stars.
These celebrities wield significant influence in the perfume industry, regardless of who dominates the spotlight. Their presence ensures that even during periods of relative quietness, when they may not have a new album or film release, they remain in the public eye, continuing to generate revenue.
The sway of celebrities over our preferences is undeniable. They possess an aura of admiration that captivates us through their on-screen performances or social media presence.
Even though most of us have no personal connection to these celebrities (unless one is exceptionally fortunate), their omnipresence in the media landscape fosters a sense of adoration among us. Perfume, being an inherently personal product, holds a special place in many of our lives. It is a tangible connection to the allure and glamour associated with these celebrities.
Indeed, owning a designer fragrance bottle, whether in the past or presently, reflects our desire to partake in the same allure and sophistication embodied by our favourite stars.
Celebrity influencers
We often encounter our beloved stars on social media platforms like Instagram, whose popularity has surged in recent years, surpassing even that of Facebook. The pervasive nature of these platforms provides us with an unprecedented window into the daily lives of celebrities.
As we scroll through our Instagram feeds, we find ourselves immersed in the minutiae of their routines, from their morning coffee rituals to their glamorous red-carpet appearances. Each post offers a glimpse into their world, fostering a sense of familiarity and connection that transcends the boundaries of mere fandom.
The more we witness their activities and experiences, the more we feel an intimate connection with them. Whether it’s a candid snapshot of a family vacation or a behind-the-scenes peek at a film set, these glimpses into their lives evoke a sense of kinship as if we are witnessing the lives of friends rather than distant celebrities.
In this digital age, social media has become a powerful tool for cultivating and nurturing fan-celebrity relationships. Through platforms like Instagram, fans can interact with their favourite stars in real time, leaving comments, likes, and messages that further reinforce their bond.
Ultimately, social media’s prevalence has revolutionised how we perceive and engage with celebrities. It has democratized access to their lives, allowing fans to feel closer to their idols than ever before. As a result, the lines between celebrity and fan have become increasingly blurred, ushering in a new era of connection and camaraderie in entertainment.
Wearing a fragrance endorsed or crafted by a celebrity remarkably draws us closer to them.
A single spritz from the bottle, carefully stored to preserve its essence, or catching sight of their face gracing the packaging of their scent, serves as a symbolic bridge into the realm of celebrity.
Indeed, it’s akin to a personal invitation into their world. The scent, imbued with their essence and chosen by them, becomes a tangible link, allowing us to envelop ourselves in their aura, if only for a moment.
The allure of the celebrity lifestyle amplifies this connection. Just as we admire their talents and follow their exploits on screen or stage, embracing their fragrance allows us to partake in a different facet of their identity.
The trend gained significant traction with iconic figures like Elizabeth Taylor and Jennifer Lopez, who ventured into fragrance creation. Witnessing their success, other celebrities swiftly followed suit, recognizing the lucrative potential of this new market segment.
For celebrities, it’s not just about expanding their business empire; it’s about forging a deeper connection with their audience. By offering a fragrance that bears their name or seal of approval, they invite fans into an intimate sphere, allowing them to experience a slice of their world in a tangible and personal way.
In this way, wearing a celebrity-endorsed or -crafted fragrance becomes more than just a choice of scent; it’s a statement of allegiance, a gesture of admiration, and a symbol of our shared fascination with the lives of the stars.

As long as the public continues to shower their favourite artists, TV, and film stars with support, there will invariably remain a demand and niche in the market for both established and emerging celebrities to delve into the realm of fragrance creation, adorning themselves with their signature scents.
Let’s look at those who wear fragrances that they have played a big part in creating.
Ariana Grande
When you’re as renowned as Ariana Grande, it’s hardly surprising that some of her perfume collections bear the duplicate titles as her chart-topping records.
With fragrances like Thank U, Next, and God Is A Woman, these scents will be memorable in more ways than one. Ariana has curated a collection of perfumes that exude a sweet, girlish, and playful vibe.
One notable aspect of her perfumes is her affinity for marshmallow notes, which lend a distinctive sweetness. This choice reflects Ariana’s preferences and contributes to the unique character of her fragrances.
Given Ariana’s immense popularity among younger demographics, she has astutely crafted perfumes that cater to this particular age group. Notably, her scents are well-suited to a youthful audience and remarkably affordable, making them ideal gifts for daughters or nieces without straining the wallet.
Each bottle in her collection evokes a distinctly feminine, soft, innocent, and youthful theme, reflecting Ariana’s persona and resonating with her dedicated fan base. These fragrances are more than just scents; they express Ariana’s style, personality, and enduring connection with her audience.
Cloud by Ariana Grande
Who wouldn’t be on cloud nine with this beautifully designed bottle’‘Cloud’? Shaped like a cloud that transports you to a higher place, you soon return to earth with its sweet and floral notes.’Who wouldn’t be on cloud nine with this beautifully designed bottle ‘Cloud’? Shaped like a cloud that transports you to a higher place, you soon return to earth with its sweet and floral notes.
Vanilla, coconut, and praline are the first to reach the nose, and a beautiful combination of bergamot, musk, lavender, and pear balances out the sweetness to perfection.
Being such a lovely scent, it is essential not to over-spray as it would likely linger for hours on your skin and in the air for those around you.
Ariana Grande-Cloud
Thank U, Next by Ariana Grande
Thank U. Next is another bottle that graces us with femininity and love. A cleverly designed bottle shaped like a broken heart automatically speaks a thousand lyrics of her famous song. As the bottle breaks out of the broken heart, it gives the younger generation a positive and strong message that even through heartache, we can still get back to being strong and independent.
Suitable to wear all year round, we have a wonderful concoction of raspberry, pear, rose petals, musk and macaroon sugar. A beautiful combination of sweet scents to reinstate the message of love being bittersweet.
ARIANA GRANDE THANK U NEXT 100ML EAU DE PARFUM SPRAY
God Is A Woman
We already know this. Ariana Grande has created a style bottle at the other end of the scale with this fragrance. With a bold and robust bottle shape to enhance the title and strong fragrance notes of cedarwood, vanilla, and pear, it powerfully hits and is straight to the point. Being designed as an Eau de parfum, this scent will feel and smell much more potent, so it is an excellent choice of bottle and name.
Britney Spears
‘Britney Spears is no stranger to the limelight. She has been around since her early days on The Mickey Mouse Club with Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera. There is a theme toBritney’ss”Fantasy‘ perfume range.’Britney Spears is no stranger to the limelight. She has been around since her early days on The Mickey Mouse Club with Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera. There is a theme to Britney’s ‘Fantasy‘ perfume range.
In this collection, we have bottles shaped like spheres. They have soft edges, are colourful and elegant, and have tiny crystals edged into them. The fragrances in the collection are suitable for daytime and nighttime wear and all seasons.
Island Fantasy by Britney Spears
Island Fantasy is suitable for daytime and summer with its sweet, citrus and aquatic notes. We already get a sense of summer with this perfume, not only for its fragrance notes but also with its green/blue colour bottle.
Tropical seas with crystal-clear water The top fragrance notes bring this fragrance to life with watermelon, mandarin, citrus, clementine and red berries. Flowers that make up the heart notes include jasmine, violet, freesia, and a musk base to keep summer’s light and delicate feel lingering.
Although it’s not the most long-lasting fragrance, this would be ideal for the summer when we don’t want to wear a heavier scent and can re-apply during the day. This gives just enough scent to keep us smelling fresh during the warmer months or summer holidays.
Sunset Fantasy by Britney Spears
Another bottle of fragrance from the Fantasy range with this colour bottle almost feels oriental. With its gold, orange and pink vibrancy tones running through it, we get a feel for places abroad.
This summer fragrance contains sweet, citrus, vanilla and fruity notes. With a fragrance scent that keeps the same theme as the bottle design, we have lovely and fruity scents as the top notes of Italian Mandarin, apple, and grapefruit breakthrough.
Sunset Fantasy by Britney Spears eau de toilette spray 100ml
It is another fragrance you wouldn’t necessarily buy for its longevity, but it is a mixture of plant fruits. Raspberry leaf and orange blossom balance out the peach fruit nicely.
An unusual choice of base note is milk mousse. We don’t often experience this in perfumes, but it works well with vanilla, sandalwood, amber and Australian sandalwood.
Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey is known for her unique vocals, big personality and diva status. A once shy-looking young lady who first adorned our screens, Mariah has shown the world that she is here to make a huge impact. Her aim? To give joy to others with her incredible song lyrics, shatter a few glasses with her vocal range, I’m sure, and create a beautiful scent for equally independent women.
M by Mariah Carey
M by Mariah Carey shows an exquisite purple-based bottle with a lid in the shape of a butterfly—one can assume it fits nicely with her album Butterfly, released in 1997. This amber floral fragrance was launched in 2007. Sitting in the oriental family of notes, M by Mariah Carey captures romance and elegance with its sweet top notes of marshmallows and seawater.
It has unusual heart notes of gardenia and tiare flower and more familiar base notes of patchouli, amber and incense.
Some would think the marshmallow would be a little overpowering, but although it stays with you, it is blended and balanced well with the heart and base notes to leave a gorgeous scented perfume.
Halle Berry
Halle Berry began her career as a model. Her natural beauty makes it easy to see why. Since then, the American Oscar-winning actress has gone on to play parts in many Hollywood films, and her latest venture sees her following in the footsteps of so many other celebrities by embracing the perfume world.
Halle by Halle Berry
The 2009 bottle is as simplistic as its name by Halle Berry. Stylish, gold, and elegantly shaped, Halle has created a sensual fragrance with a delightful cocktail of beautiful perfume notes. Based on the floral family, Halle has top notes of pear blossom, fig leaf, and Sicilian bergamot. An unusual mix of heart notes—mimosa, freesia, and hibiscus—is finished nicely with amber, cashmeran, olibanum, white musk, and driftwood.
Halle By Halle Berry Eau De Parfum Vaporisateur Spray 50ml
This perfume sees Halle releasing her first fragrance and a last chance to grab a rare and discontinued fragrance. Many more have been added to her collection since.
David Beckham
Instinct by David Beckham
David has a beautiful selection of male scents and has since collaborated with his wife, Victoria, to bring us a ‘his & hers’ range from their fragrance line, the House of Beckham. He enjoys wearing other designer scents as his signature scent, but he also wears one of his own from his fragrance line, House of David Beckham, called Instinct. Falling in the Fougere family and created in 2005, this bottle is an excellent blend of wood, earthy, spicy, floral, and citrus notes.
David Beckham Instinct eau de toilette 50ml
This fragrance opens with a fresh, citrus note —a whiff of mandarin orange—followed by a woody aroma. The bottle itself is very simplistic, distinguished, and clean. There’s no fuss, no thrills, and what you see is what you get.
Tom Ford
Tom Ford is no stranger to the fashion industry and the fragrance world, so it would be slightly strange if he didn’t wear one of his creations as his signature scent. Alongside fragrances, Tom has created his brand in menswear, accessories, eyewear, and beauty products.
Beau De Jour by Tom Ford
This scent was launched in 2020, a relatively new addition to the fragrance world. Like David Beckham, Tom Ford has kept his scent as an aromatic base within the Fougere family.
The Fougere scent There is an excellent selection of spices as we smell woody and earthy notes. This scent has lavender extracts and touches of Rosemary, mint, basil, oakmoss, and then the base of patchouli and amber—another smell to come in an Eau de parfum. A light spritz of this strong fragrance will go a long way, so less is more.

What Perfume Do Celebrities Wear?
You would be led to believe celebrities wear the perfumes and aftershaves they endorse. While there are plenty who do, many have their own favourites.
What perfume do celebrities wear?
It’s well-known that many of today’s celebrities endorse a scent during their career, but many do wear different scents from the ones they’ve helped create and promote. From film stars to pop stars, we’ve seen many fragrances sold off the shelves in-store and online.
With up-and-coming stars hitting our screens and the celebrity circuit, we’re curious about what scents these stars wear themselves. Interestingly, they are scents they don’t get paid to wear either. Many of us reach for a perfume or aftershave bottle before a night out or a weekend away, so what do celebrities wear when they go out in public?
Signature scents
Celebrities often wear a signature scent, a fragrance that reminds them of an occasion or, indeed, reminds others of their presence. We’ve all been there.

Many of us or our friends have a signature scent that is worn to every occasion. The more we sniff such fragrance, the more it reminds us of the person who is wearing it. Scents have a wonderful way of bringing back memories and special times, similar to when we listen to music.
Let’s delve into the celebrity world of fragrances and examine some of the brands that our celebs are reaching for.

Adele
There won’t be many who haven’t heard of Adele, listened to her records, or know her unique music style. Famous for writing powerful lyrics and unforgettable melodies with her beautiful ballads that almost everyone can relate to, Adele has been wearing her favourite scent since her teens.
Hypnotic Poison by Dior is one of those perfumes that can be very difficult to wear due to its powerful scent, and it has undoubtedly made a statement since its release in 1998.
Just like Adele’s power ballads have the impact to hit home and are easily remembered, this fragrance has the same effect.
Top notes: Plum, coconut, apricot
Heart notes: Jasmine, caraway, Brazilian rosewood, tuberose
Base notes: Vanilla, milk almond, sandalwood
A mixture of sweet yet powerful fragrance notes that will instantly impact its first spray and a scent that will get heads turning.
It would seem the perfect scent for such a powerhouse. Both celebrity and perfume make an unforgettable entrance.
Harry styles
Harry Styles burst onto our screens as a 16-year-old in 2010 when he auditioned for the X Factor. Since then, he has become one-fifth of the boy band One Direction and has continued his success as a solo artist to this day.
Harry has been wearing the scent Memoire D’une Odeur by Gucci since starting in several campaigns for the fragrance.
This gender-neutral scent is perhaps contrary to what we may expect Harry to wear, given his unique fashion wardrobe. A man that possibly has every man and woman, in fact, envious that he can wear absolutely anything and still look good! We visualize a robust masculine scent that turns heads, so his choice of fragrance is a much more delicate approach.
With light herbal notes, it’s not an overpowering scent and is nicely suited as an everyday fragrance.
Top notes: Bitter Almond, chamomile
Heart notes: Musk, jasmine, Indian jasmine
Base notes: Sandalwood, vanilla, cedar
Since 2017, one of Harry’s favourite fragrances has been Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille.
This intense and hugely popular fragrance for both men and women was launched in 2007. With its dark and sultry notes, this scent effortlessly fits the sophistication and sex appeal of Harry Styles.
Top notes: Tobacco leaf
Middle notes: Vanilla, tonka bean, tobacco blossom, cacao
Base notes: dried fruits and woody notes.

Camilla Cabello
Since its release in 2012, La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme has been a huge hit. Julia Roberts is behind the TV advert and endorses the product. She also wears a famous fragrance.
We have another famous singer who likes its sweet and floral scent. Camilla Cabello enjoys this design, too, and I have to say, it’s one of my all-time favourites.
A first whiff of this fragrance automatically conjures up youth and summer vibes, and it’s no surprise that it’s so popular.

Top notes: Blackcurrant, pear
Heart notes: Jasmine, Iris, orange blossom
Base notes : Vanilla, praline, tonka bean, patchouli.
Gordon Ramsay
It’s a little surprise to hear that Gordon Ramsay wears Aventus by Creed. This scent has a masculine, rebellious, and woody structure. It’s straight to the point and direct, and there’s no confusion that it’s part of the Creed family.
A touch of fruit gives Aventus its softer edge, a side we occasionally see in this high-profile, straight-talking celebrity.
Top notes: Italian bergamot, pineapple, french apples, blackcurrant
Heart notes: Patchouli, dry birch, rose, Moroccan jasmine
Base notes : Oakmoss, musk, ambergris, vanilla.
Johnny Depp
Launched in 2015, Savage by Dior has become hugely popular. With a high dose of pepper, this fragrance still shows masculinity alongside hints of lavender and cedar. As part of the Fougere family and one of the top-selling fragrances for men, looking closely at the fragrance notes shows an unusual selection.
A selection that makes up this scent and is quite fitting for a quirky celebrity like Johnny Depp to wear.
Top notes: Pepper, Calabrian, bergamot
Heart notes: Lavender, pink pepper, patchouli, Sichuan pepper, geranium.
Base notes: Cedar, laudanum, ambroxan
Cameron Diaz
Pure-faced Cameron Diaz wears the fragrance Happy by Clinique, founded in 1968. It is possibly a very typical choice of perfume with its floral blend of happy, feminine, and vibrant fragrance notes. Whenever Cameron Diaz adorns our screens, we often think of pure, fresh skin and a delicate scent. With a smile and a twinkle in her eye, this scent perfectly fits her personality.
Top notes: Blood orange, apple, grapefruit, orange, bergamot, Indian mandarin
Heart notes: Lily-of-the-valley, rose, freesia, orchid.
Base notes: Amber, musk, lily, magnolia and mimosa.
Lady Gaga
She is wearing a fragrance like Womanity by Thierry Mugler, which suits Lady Gaga’s unique creativity. This fragrance, with its blend of sweet and spicy notes that align with Thierry Mugler perfumes’ classic and iconic scent, fits this pop star down to a tee alongside a creative bottle design.
Its distinctive notes make this perfume versatile and suitable for any independent woman. It was launched in 2011.
Top notes: Citrus, green notes, chutney
Heart notes: Sea water, caviar, black fig.
Base notes: Virginia cedar, immortelle, vetiver and opoponax (violet-scented flowers)
Katy Perry
Katy Perry is another celebrity with a keen interest in unique scents by a classic designer. Katy wears Angel by Thierry Mugler, which was first launched in 1992.
I feel it is a scent with an acquired taste. It has lovely notes, and it’s almost like wearing the smell of a bar of chocolate! It’s one of those fragrances that you either love or hate.
Too many sprays could leave you and others with a headache, as this perfume has a solid vanilla base that tends to linger for a while. The bottle is not the best design for your bedside cabinet, as it doesn’t stand up on its own, so it’s one to keep in the box between sprays.
Top notes: Strawberry, dewberry, honey, jasmine, orchid, rose, bergamot, helonial
Middle notes: Chocolate, coumarin, caramel
Base notes: Sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla, musk
Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt is a wearer of Musk by Lorenzo Villoresi.
A masculine scent that is seductive, sensual and mysterious and was released in 1995.
Once Brad started wearing this scent, it understandably became more popular. We are often influenced by high-profile celebrities and what they wear regarding fragrances and clothes.
With a touch of floral, wood and vanilla, this fragrance maintains its balance as a unisex scent.
Top notes: Bay leaf, eucalyptus, mint, coriander, cypress, green notes, cardamom
Heart notes: Cloves, nutmeg, pepper, cinnamon, fir, juniper, oregano, Thyme, caraway.
Base notes: Sage, rosemary, tomato leaf, heliotrope, oakmoss.
Sandra Bullock
Sandra Bullock is another celebrity who always has that youthful appearance year by year and wears Dune by Christian Dior.
Sandra is no stranger to our TV screens and has appeared in many box-office films.
A classic scent designed in 1991, it is still popular with its floral musk scent. It is suitable for daytime or night, primarily through the summer months.
DIOR Dune Women’s Eau de Toilette Spray Perfume 100ML
Top notes: Mandarin, bergamot, aldehyde, palisander, peony, broom
Heart notes: Rose, ylang-ylang, wallflower, lily, lichen, jasmine
Base notes: patchouli. Sandalwood, amber, musk, oakmoss, benzoin, vanilla.
So there you have it.

Where To Buy Perfume Samples
The perfume industry is vast and continues to grow. One of the great things about buying a new fragrance is the availability of samples to try before you buy. We’ve all done it: We purchase perfume because it smells nice on someone else or because the celebrity endorser behind the bottle is one of our favourite actors.
FM World samples We are still very much influenced by our purchases when it comes to fragrances. Many places offer free samples or samples at a small cost so that you can try a fragrance before you commit to buying the bottle.
This excellent idea will save money when buying perfume you may never wear. Everyone’s skin is different so that each fragrance will smell unique on your skin.
Friends, family, or even strangers often comment on our chosen fragrance. They like the scent and may even buy the bottle themselves, only to find it doesn’t smell the same on their skin.
Another expensive bottle of celebrity perfume sits in the wardrobe or on the dressing table. When I was younger, I loved going into the perfume stores with my late mum to get a collection of perfume samples. It was a cheap way of having a fragrance every day. Nowadays, perfume samples can be used for so many ideas.
Perfume Samples as Wedding Favours
Are you getting married?
Have you ever considered purchasing a selection of perfume samples for your guests? They’ll love this idea. Using perfume samples as wedding favours has become very popular over the last few years, and they don’t have to cost a fortune.
A great way to thank your wedding guests for attending your special day is to give them a selection of perfume or aftershave samples at the table.

An extra gift
Another idea for using perfume samples is to add a small gift to a birthday or Christmas present, particularly if you find out what fragrance the person likes, such as floral, woody, citrus, oriental, etc.
You could then choose those fragrance notes as an extra gift to pop inside their gift.
Enhancing Your Home with Perfume Samples
If you don’t want to wear or give away your perfume samples, there are several things you can do with them.
The potpourri on your kitchen windowsill that has lost its scent can be quickly revived by sprinkling drops of your perfume sample on top.
Sprinkle some perfume onto your potpourri for a delicate scent in the home Take a sample abroad for your holidays. When the airport limits the amount of liquid we can take, a sample bottle is the perfect solution, and you can take a few different scents with you, too.
Add a sample bottle to a water spray with a bit of water, and gently spray your car seats to give them a new scent when you return for a drive.
An excellent idea for smelly kitchen bins is to add some drops to some cotton balls and pop them in the bottom of your bin before your liner goes in.
Drawer liners keep our clothes smelling fresh, so why not add a little potpourri to a small pouch bag?
Add a few drops of your sample perfume to add a gorgeous fragrance the next time you reach for your smalls.
If you use the tumble dryer during the winter months and usually use scented sheets, why not create your own?
Add several drops of perfume onto a damp handkerchief and pop it in the dryer. Your wet clothes will come out smelling fresh, clean, scented and dry.

A Popular Choice Of Fragrance
Thousands of men and women currently wear FM fragrances, which are popular, long-lasting, and affordable—the perfect combination. We all have a different way of thinking when purchasing products. Many prefer to buy the designer range because of the celebrity endorser behind that product. You pay a percentage towards the packaging, the designer bottle, the celebrity endorser and the TV advert that goes alongside it.
FM fragrances were created to give quality perfume that lasts longer than celebrity perfumes and is affordable for any budget. They also created perfume where you don’t pay for the above external factors. They all contain 20% or 30% pure perfume oil, meaning that your fragrance will last around eight hours if you use 20% perfume and even longer if you buy a 30% perfume oil fragrance.
Quality Samples, Quality Perfumes
Buyers want to pay for quality and do just that at FM. With over 200 fragrances, we are spoilt for choice when choosing one of our favourites. We don’t need to spend £80-£100 on designer fragrances when we can buy a more affordable bottle with similar notes. They are so similar that they smell almost identical.
Pure and Pure Royal Range
With such a large selection, the PURE and PURE ROYAL range samples are 1.4ml sample bottles.
The applicator, a plastic wand attached to the lid, applies the sample to your skin. If you require that extra touch, the paper sample holders can be bought separately for 80 pence each.
Sample holder for male perfume Sample holder for female perfume The Utique Range
FM WORLD’s Utique range features twelve scents with delightful fragrance notes. Eight of those fragrances ( Black, Gold, Ruby, Bubble, Ambre Royal, Ambergris, and Malachite) belong to the Asian family, so you will find floral, woody, spicy, vanilla, and ambergris notes.
Three scents ( Muffin, Flamingo, Violet Oud) are in the flower family so that you will have fruity, oriental, citrus, woody, and water notes. The last scent (Sexy Cashmere) is in the wood family group, with notes of floral, fruit, and oriental. All the perfumes in the Utique range are unisex and contain 20% perfume.

The Best Summer Fragrances For Men
Men love a fragrance just as much as women, so what are the best summer fragrances for men? It’s not surprising that many women prefer to wear a male fragrance.
There is such a great range of gorgeous male scents available and popular summer scents are full of fresh, aquatic and citrus vibes. The males take just as much care in their appearance as women and some of the fragrance notes in male products are real head turners.
Travelling light
Men prefer to travel light when going on their holidays. Much more than the women. We feel the need to take most of the wardrobe and every pair of shoes we own, to match our evening outfits.
A couple of pairs of shorts, a few tops and one pair of shoes seem to suit the men perfectly. Having a partner who travels light certainly has its advantages. More space in the suitcase for us ladies to fill those gaps with even more outfits and shoes!
We do leave a small space for their favourite fragrance though and it’s usually one that the woman has chosen!
Well, if we are spending a 2-week holiday together it’s important to make sure that our fellas have the best smelling fragrance to wear.
Men are more likely to buy a fragrance last minute in Duty-Free. This inevitably leads to them purchasing a female one for their partner too. There’s no escape lads!
The best summer fragrances for men
When we think of fragrance notes for men for summer wear, similar to female scents, we think of delicate aquatic notes. A touch of citrus such as oranges, lemons or lime.
The same rule applies so nothing too heavy for the hot weather. Anything that reminds us of sandy beaches, cocktails and crashing waves is perfect.
Let’s take a look at some of the best summer fragrances for men.

1. Giorgio Armani- Aqua Di Gio
This gorgeous fragrance sits in the citrus family. With a wonderful combination of pineapple, lemon, peach, musk, sandalwood, cedar and ylang ylang, it’s easy to see why this fragrance is hugely popular for men.
2. Creed-Aventus
This male scent is perfect all year round with pineapple, blackcurrant, bergamot and apple as its top notes, it’s easy to see why it’s ideal for summer. A wonderful bottle of freshness to try.
Having base notes of vanilla, ambergris and oak moss makes it a suitable scent that can be worn for any occasion and season. It’s a very masculine scent and a popular choice for many males.
Creed Aventus Aftershave for Men
3. Dior- Savage
Dior Savage has become very popular over the last few years and is another fragrance that suits most seasons.
With notes of pepper, lavender, patchouli and bergamot, Savage is ideal for the evening meal whilst away. It’s also a good scent to wear whilst chilling on the beach or sitting at a taverna drinking cocktails.
It carries its freshness well and is often worn as a signature fragrance because it is suitable for all year round.
4. Kenzo- Pour Homme
Kenzo Pour Homme works well as a summer fragrance with top notes of seaweed, mahogany and bergamot. There’s a real feel of freshness and the seaweed gives it that edge of saltiness.
Once the top notes have worn off and you are left with the middle and base notes of sage, Jasmine, patchouli, ambergris, cedar and oak moss, this fragrance pops a floral scent. One of the very versatile fragrances that would suit you perfectly for daytime wear while you are enjoying your holiday.
Kenzo-Pour Homme on ebay 5. Dolce & Gabbana- Light Blue
If you love strong fruit flavours then D&C Light Blue is a great choice this summer. There’s a wonderful scent on holidays with the fragrance notes as we smell grapefruit, Sicilian mandarin, rosemary, rosewood and musk. Any fragrance that contains musk has my vote. It’s such a light and delicate scent that works well for summer as it’s not too powerful or heavy.
It has a sharpness to it that works so well during the hot months. If you’re buying this fragrance for your holidays, it’s worth noting that it can wear off fairly quickly so may not be suitable for a lasting scent during the evening. Perfect for a spritz by the pool or dipping in and out of the sea.
Dolce & Gabbana- Light Blue on ebay 6. Giorgio Armani-Aqua Di Gio
The name alone screams out class and coolness. If you’re looking for a scent that has a bit more longevity, then Giorgio Armani-Aqua Di Gio is the perfect match.
Full of summer notes such as lime, neroli, jasmine, peach and rose, this fragrance will certainly fit the bill. With base notes of ambergris, cedar and oak moss, this gives the scent a longer-lasting aroma and both middle and base notes keep the scent long-lasting.
Giorgio Armani aqua di gio 100ml aftershave lotion
7. Davidoff-Cool Water
The female version of this fragrance is refreshing and Davidoff’s Cool Water is no exception. Beautiful top notes of lavender, peppermint, rosemary and orange blossom make this scent one of the favourites for men.
We do think of summer and holidays with the title alone and with a reasonable price, it’s a popular fragrance to wear all year round.
8. Ralph Lauren-Polo Blue
Another fragrance that hits the favourite summer notes is Ralph Lauren-Polo Blue. Consisting of very delicate notes such as melon, cucumber and clementine, they’re the kind of notes you could pop into your drink and sit with your feet dipped into the pool.
The base notes of patchouli, white amber and oak moss ensure this fragrance lasts long into the evening for a refreshing scent that lingers. The perfect blend of notes for the hot weather and an all-around scent that’s perfect for the beach or a night out at a tavern.
Ralph Lauren Polo Blue Eau de Toilette Men’s Aftershave Spray
9. Calvin Klein-CK One Summer
This fragrance is unisex so it makes the perfect scent to take away for a holiday when both you and your partner can use it. A refreshing and typical summer scent with its mixture of cedarwood, guava and mojito, ( a cocktail of flavours consisting of lime or lemon juice, mint and white rum).
Calvin Klein’s CK One Summer is another scent, like Dolce & Gabanna-Light Blue, which has short longevity and works very well during hot days, by the beach or dipping in and out of the pool.
10. Jean Paul Gaultier-Le Beau
This fragrance brings summer in a bottle with its combination of sweet notes such as bergamot, coconut and tonka bean. Added to the great style of such a bottle and we are truly ready for summer.
Citrus scents are hugely popular during the summer and as soon as you open this fragrance, there is an instant whiff of citrus, followed by the coconut.
Most of us recognize a coconut scent with sun lotion but this fragrance is more overpowered by the tonka bean. It’s a very versatile fragrance and one to consider for your holiday.

The Best Summer Fragrances For Women
Summer is finally here! If you’re looking for the perfect fragrance, what are the best summer scents for women? The hot season, whether experienced in the UK or abroad, calls for a more subtle fragrance on the skin. A fragrance that is too strong or laden with heavy notes may not settle gracefully on the skin and will likely be off-putting for you and those around you.
Famous summer fragrance notes include the fresh and invigorating scents of orange blossom, mandarin, and grapefruit, complemented by jasmine, peony, and tuberose floral notes. For a touch of tropical allure, coconut and the crisp aroma of apple are also favourites during the warmer months.
The fragrance notes evoke a sense of ‘summer’ and ‘delicate scents.’ Given the heat during this season, we tend to opt for lighter clothing, making it sensible to choose a lighter fragrance.
Regarding perfumes and fragrances, numerous options are available for those seeking a lighter scent.
Body sprays for a lighter option.
As previously discussed, body sprays work very well when it’s hot. Their delicate mist instantly cools the skin down. Over the past few weeks, when temperatures reached as high as 32 degrees, I have reached for my FM No. 20 body mist.
It felt too hot to wear perfume, mainly because our brand contains 20% pure perfume oil for a longer-lasting fragrance. EDT is a great option, too, as these will give off just as good a fragrance but without as much longevity.
Some women don’t feel fully dressed without a spritz of their favourite scent, so having other options is incredibly beneficial. If you love fragrances, you will already know just how many there are.
It can be overwhelming, especially if you usually purchase your favourite bottle from perfume stores. An overlay of scents while trying on several brands can give you headaches and prevent you from buying.
We appreciate having the option to try before we buy, especially when we’re looking for a new scent.
Samples are available to try.
You can try samples before purchasing from FM World. Check out our shop here. The perfect scents are those with base notes of summer fragrances. You don’t want to pick one that smells like summer with its initial spray but then develops heavy notes as the day progresses.
Opting for perfumes and scents with delicate base notes allows the fragrance to stay subtle and soft throughout the day without overpowering you or anyone walking past.
Now, let’s explore some popular fragrance scents suitable for hotter weather.

Another beautiful summer scent is the fantastic Flower Bomb, launched in 2005. This distinguished bottle and scent can be found on many women’s dressing tables. Famous fragrance notes of jasmine, rose, musk, vanilla, and patchouli give this scent a natural feel for summer and warmer weather.
As soon as the top notes hit your nose, there is an instant whiff of sweetness, and the vanilla scent pops through alongside the musk and rose. Pretty summer dresses and a glass of bubbly set the perfect mood with a touch of this spray on the skin.

Created in 2018, it’s perhaps one of those perfumes that has gone unnoticed in the past, and many women may have yet to try it.
Once the initial top notes have settled down, you are left with a familiar scent reminiscent of the male version of Cool Water. I was a fan of the male scent as it wasn’t heavy, had a masculine approach, and kept its scent delicate and clean.
Despite its placement in the floral family, this 2003 scent suits both men and women. Its light fragrance is appropriate for any occasion, striking a perfect balance that makes it gender-neutral.
Fragrance notes of mandarin, jasmine, rose, lily, and neroli give this perfume an instant burst of freshly squeezed clementine oranges.
A real sense of summer pops through, and after the orange notes have subsided, a hint of lemon mixed with flowers maintains the summer feel. It exudes romance and dusky nights, perfect for sitting by the water and watching the sunset.
If you’re looking for a perfume that instantly smells like the fresh fruit you’ve just bought from the supermarket, Dior’s fragrance is packed with summer fruits.
Launched in 1999, J’adore boasts fragrance notes of melon, pear, peach, mandarin, orange, bergamot, vanilla, blackberry, plum, and violet. Perhaps the combination of fruits in one bottle makes it too sweet for some, but it’s worth a try. French for “I love,” this perfume has had Charlize Theron advertising its beauty since its launch.
J’adore-Dior 10. So Scandal!-Jean Paul Gaultier
This perfume features a wonderfully designed bottle with a slender pair of women’s legs on the cap as if she has fallen into this beautiful scent. It exudes a sense of sexuality, femininity, and mystery.

Skincare Routine For Men
A skincare routine for men is just as important as one for women. It may have been frowned upon or laughed at when men started taking an interest in their skin and appearance, as it was always catered more to women.
Nowadays, we see an increase in male perfume ads on our TV screens, indicating that men are wearing more fragrances. Men also want to smell great, and with many reaching for skincare products over the years, they aim to have great-looking and feeling skin, just like the ladies.
Men also feel more comfortable shopping for skincare products without the embarrassment of reaching for items like exfoliating face masks or moisturisers.
Sun care is just as critical for men.
If anything, men should prioritize taking care of their skin. Many have jobs that require them to work outside in all weather conditions, such as builders, roofers, and postmen. Even office staff need to pay attention to skincare. Males working in offices may find themselves out and about, travelling to see clients as part of their job. With an intelligent haircut and professional attire, it also makes sense to prioritize good skin.
The shelves in physical stores and online are stacked with just as many male skincare products. Businesses have recognized the market demand for such products, and men are now more confident in reaching for specific skincare items.
Taking care of the inside for a better outside
We all know how much our skin can dry out in certain weather conditions; central heating at home and the day-to-day atmosphere affect how our skin reacts. Hot weather can leave our skin dry, tight, and flaky if we don’t care for it.
It’s essential to remember that what we put inside our bodies also plays a significant role in how good or bad our skin feels and looks.
Healthy eating, regular exercise, and drinking plenty of water contribute to the long-term benefits of looking and feeling good.
Many gender-neutral products are available, as well as those specifically designed for men and women.
According to Allied Market Research, the male personal care industry is predicted to reach $166 billion by this year (2022).
Over the years, men have often felt that taking care of their skin is too feminine, as it was traditionally considered something only women did.
In the past, men typically used whatever bar of soap was available at home, usually courtesy of their wives or partners who purchased it during the weekly shopping. Not much consideration was given to whether that particular bar of soap would benefit their skin; it was merely used because it was the only product available.
Women, quite cleverly, often kept their skincare products hidden from men, mainly if these products were more expensive than the average range. As a result, men were frequently left with the day-to-day bar of soap that everyone in the household used.
The negative impact on our skin
In today’s more accepting climate around gender, men are increasingly comfortable discussing their skincare concerns and adopting effective routines using some of the best products available.
We know the accumulated dirt and grime on the skin throughout the day. Therefore, having a skincare routine becomes crucial to remove excess oils and dirt.
Although men may not have to contend with the buildup of makeup on their skin, which can potentially block pores if not thoroughly removed, those working outdoors face challenges. These factors can significantly impact a man’s skin, whether on building sites, enduring weather conditions, working underground, or around food.
Moreover, we often underestimate how frequently we touch our skin, especially our faces, daily. Actions such as removing an eyelash, blowing our nose, or soothing hay fever eyes can transfer dirt from our hands to our faces. Despite thinking our hands are clean after washing, they are exposed to dirt daily.
Touching the steering wheel while driving to work, opening doors, and shaking hands with colleagues are routine actions that inevitably transfer germs and dirt to our faces.
For some men who shave daily, face washing and cleansing before applying cologne are already built-in. On the other hand, some may not apply anything to their skin after a shower, and their face remains unwashed until the evening.
Men’s growing popularity and acceptance of skincare routines are evident in using daily products to protect the skin and restore moisture. Many men are incorporating these practices into their daily regimen, recognizing the benefits of maintaining healthy skin.
Long term gain
Taking care of our skin isn’t just about short-term benefits; those who consistently use products to cleanse and moisturize will experience better results in the long run.
As mentioned in my article on celebrities and skincare, understanding your skin type is crucial for choosing the most suitable products.
Men who shave regularly may notice that their skin tends to be drier than women’s due to the moisture being stripped away with continuous shaving. Shaving foam is essential in locking in moisture, making the skin smoother and more accessible to shave. This gives the razor the chance to glide across the skin.
A man’s skincare routine is the same as a woman’s. Cleansing is the first and essential step in any skincare routine, washing off excess oil, dirt, and pollutants that can accumulate on the face throughout the day.
It is crucial to use a cleanser that effectively removes dirt without drying out the skin. Skin that feels tight immediately after washing is not going to be comfortable. One product that men may overlook is eye cream. Moisturiser is an essential product for everyone to have. It keeps the skin hydrated and looking brighter and helps keep the complexion clear and protected.

Try to find one suitable for your skin type, especially oily skin. Some may not be suitable and may make the skin oily, so shop accordingly. Using the right one will benefit and improve the skin, with better skin texture and fewer breakouts, making the skin less oily, contrary to belief.
Applying a moisturiser after shaving is a product to reach for. Applying it in the morning and evening will keep it looking refreshed and youthful. We all strive for youth as we get older!
Products available for men
With so many products available for men’s skincare, there aren’t any right or wrong products to choose from. Take a look at the different ranges available from these different companies.
